For more information, please visit http://www.ixigo.com\n As a Principal Engineer (strong Product background), you will play a critical role in the design, planning, development, and deployment of software applications. You will be responsible for all aspects of development and help develop best practices for future development. You will work closely with Tech, Design and Quality teams to build and launch the product.\nYou will code, develop, design and architect features related to the existing application.\n\nWe expect you to own modules end to end and take pride in the work products you ship.\n\nYou will design, implement and maintain highly scalable, multi-tier, distributed server software applications.\n\nYou will deliver across the entire app life cycle, including design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support.\n\nYou will work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and release products.\n\nYou will take responsibility for performance and stability for all server functions.\n\nYou will continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.\n\nQualifications\n5-6 years of experience.\n\nYou should have at least an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, preferably from IITs/Top RECs.\n\nYou should have expertise in Java/J2EE technology.\n\nYou should have proficiency in the implementation of algorithms and the use of advanced data structures to solve problems in computing.\n\nYou should have experience with e-business/e-commerce applications and business environments.\n\nAny experience with internet companies or the travel industry will be a plus.\n\nYou should have a good
