As Content Production Manager, you'll lead the team of Content Production Specialists and partner closely with our Curriculum Designers to coordinate many simultaneous projects to meet our content development goals. This role has some technical aspects, so it's important that you are comfortable working with spreadsheets and markup languages such as HTML or XML (although coding experience is not required). #LI-EM1\nThis is a full-time position that requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nManage a team of 20 Content Production Specialists, including several team leads. As needed, recruit and train new employees\nGuide and mentor the leads and Content Production Specialists on your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages continuous improvement\nAct as the final quality gatekeeper for all work completed by your team, proactively identifying and addressing any concerns\nWork closely with curriculum team leads to define project scopes and timelines. Strategically allocate your team's capacity across projects, adapting quickly as priorities change\nMonitor progress across projects and communicate project status to all stakeholders\nDesign workflows and implement process improvements to ensure projects are completed efficiently and in accordance with our quality standards\nTroubleshoot technical issues in our production workflow and work with engineers to evaluate and improve our in-house tools\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nBachelor's degree\n4+ years experience with managing, coaching, and motivating teams; experience managing team leads or managers is strongly preferred\n4+ years of project management experience\nProven success coordinating cross-team projects with multiple stakeholders\nStrong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills\nFlexible and adaptable, with a growth mindset and can-do attitude \nAbility to quickly learn and master new guidelines, software, and code\nAdvanced knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (e.g. vlookup, concatenate, left/right/mid) required; familiarity with XML, HTML, and/or CSS is preferred\nInterest or experience in K-12 education is a plus\nPlease be sure to send a cover letter with your submission so that we can learn more about you.\nABOUT IXL LEARNING\nIXL Learning is the country's largest EdTech company.
