At IXL, we find it immensely satisfying to develop products that impact the lives of millions, and we are eager to have you join our team. \nThis is a full-time position that requires you to be in our Toronto, Ontario, Canada, office.\nWHAT YOU'LL BE DOING\nLead engineering efforts, which includes planning projects, developing estimates, assigning work, and tracking status\nDrive the development process for your team, including designing, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning\nCollaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams\nWork cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and QA to maintain and surpass product usability and quality standards\nProvide excellent project management direction and motivation to the team\nThrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment\nWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR\nBachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline\nExcellent programming skills in Java or other object-oriented language\nPostgres, SQL, Data Architecture a plus\nStrong communication and leadership skills\nStrong organization and time management skills\nStrong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills\nPassion for improving education through technology\nThe base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 to $200,000 CAD + benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the position.
