Your challenges, our commitment.\nAbout the Role\niZeno is looking for a Software Engineer to join our ITSM Team, supporting the design, implementation, and integration of IT Service Management and IT Asset Management solutions for our clients across Southeast Asia. This role sits at the intersection of ITSM platforms, infrastructure discovery, and custom development - ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world enterprise IT problems.\nKey Responsibilities\nConfigure, customize, and support ITSM platforms (Freshservice/ Atlassian Jira Service Management) for client implementations\nImplement and maintain IT Asset Management (ITAM) solutions using Device42\nSupport discovery, dependency mapping, and CMDB population activities across client infrastructure\nDevelop scripts, integrations, and automations using Python and Node.js\nCollaborate with solution architects and consultants to translate client requirements into technical configurations\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues across ITSM/ITAM tooling and integrations\nDocument technical designs, configurations, and runbooks\nParticipate in testing, UAT, and deployment activities for client projects\n Required Qualifications\nExperience: 2-3 years in a software engineering, ITSM, or systems integration role\nPlatform experience: Hands-on experience with Freshservice or Atlassian Jira Service Management (JSM)\nITAM experience: Practical experience with Device42 (or similar ITAM/discovery tools)\nDiscovery knowledge: Understanding of discovery protocols (e.g., SNMP, WMI, SSH, agent-based vs. agentless discovery)\nInfrastructure knowledge: Solid understanding of servers, networks, virtualization, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP a plus)\nProgramming: Hands-on experience with Python and Node.js\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field\nSoft Skills\nStrong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision\nAnalytical and structured problem-solving approach\nGood communication skills - able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders\nAbility to manage multiple client engagements and shifting priorities\nTeam player with a collaborative, consultative mindset\nAdaptability in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment\n Good to Have\nUnderstanding of CMDB structure, CI relationships, and asset lifecycle management\nITIL Foundation knowledge (v4/v5); certification a plus\nExperience with REST/SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware integrations\nBasic SQL for reporting, data extraction, and CMDB queries\nBash/PowerShell scripting for automation alongside Python/Node.js\nExposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)\nInterested applicants are invited to apply via our careers portal.
