This role is responsible for providing strong financial leadership to support operational performance, cost control, and strategic decision-making across the division.\nThe successful candidate will work closely with operations, senior leadership, and corporate finance to ensure accurate financial reporting, sound internal controls, and continuous improvement of financial processes within a manufacturing environment.\n Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for the Sawmills Division.\nDeliver accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.\nMaintain strong internal controls and compliance with JDI financial policies and procedures.\nCoordinate audit requirements and serve as a key contact for internal and external auditors.\nPartner with Sawmills operational leadership as a trusted finance advisor.\nProvide clear, actionable analysis and insights to support operational performance and strategic initiatives.\nTranslate complex financial results into meaningful information for non-finance stakeholders.\nChampion automation, data analytics, and emerging AI capabilities within finance.\nContinuously improve and standardize processes to reduce manual effort, improve efficiency, and enhance data quality.\nCollaborate with corporate finance and technology teams on system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.\nLead, coach, and develop finance team members;
