ELECTRICIAN\nReporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Industrial Electrician will be a self- starter with a “Can Do” attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast paced, dynamic, continuous 4 x 4, 12-hour shift schedule work environment.\nTerms of Employment: This is a full-time position in New Annan, PEI\nLanguage of Work: English\nPromote and maintain a safe work environment\nFollow all safety and food safety policies and procedures;\nAnalyze, inspect, repair, troubleshoot, advise and maintain electrical systems throughout Cavendish Farms facility including all production and facility equipment;\nDay to day maintenance of equipment;\nTrouble shooting, preventive and predictive maintenance;\nInvolvement in projects and new equipment installations;\nParticipation in or conducting training on familiarity with equipment.\nBe willing and able to learn all aspects of the business inside of all departments;\nCommunicate with production personnel and technical staff within maintenance and suppliers;\nInstallations of other electrical/electronic-related functions\nMust possess Industrial Red Seal/ Block Electrician Certificate.\n2-5 years of experience in the electrical field\nExperience in instrumentation and/or electronics would be considered an asset;\nFamiliarity with CMMS would be considered an asset\nPrevious PLC experience, including installation and troubleshooting preferred\nAbility to work all rotation shifts, weekends and overtime as required\nWilling and able to work in various work environments i.e. heat, cold, wet, etc.\nAbility to work with a minimum supervision\nAbility to change electric motors and switches as
