complex infrastructure projects that shape and support critical operations.\nWe are seeking a Engineer, Facilities to manage the planning, design, construction, rehabilitation, and lifecycle management of facilities and infrastructure assets, including buildings, marine structures, roads, utilities, stormwater systems, and site infrastructure.\nAs a technical expert and project leader, you will oversee capital and maintenance projects from concept to completion, manage consultants and contractors, provide engineering guidance, and mentor junior team members while ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable project delivery.\n Lead capital and facility infrastructure projects through all project phases.\n\nManage budgets, schedules, procurement, and stakeholder engagement.\n\nOversee engineering consultants, contractors, and vendors.\n\nConduct feasibility studies, condition assessments, and technical reviews.\n\nReview civil and structural designs, specifications, and construction documentation.\n\nDevelop repair, rehabilitation, replacement, and asset lifecycle strategies.\n\nProvide technical expertise on applicable codes, standards, and industry best practices.\n\nSupport planning and development of buildings, marine facilities, foundations, roads, stormwater systems, utilities, and other site infrastructure.\n\nChampion safe work practices and ensure compliance across all project activities.\n\n Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's degree considered an asset).\n\nProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) registered with Engineers Nova Scotia.\n\nPMP designation is an asset.\n\n8+ years of experience in industrial, heavy civil, marine, facilities, or infrastructure projects\n\nProven track record of delivering complex capital projects safely, on time, and within budget, combined with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical problem-solving skills.\n\nDue to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).\nPlease note this position requires a full-time, in-office
