customers and distribution locations\nSchedule shipments and communicate transportation requirements with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders\nMonitor shipment status and proactively address transportation issues or delays\nWork with carriers to secure capacity and ensure service expectations are met\nIdentify cost-effective freight solutions while maintaining customer service standards\nMaintain accurate transportation records and ensure timely data entry into company systems\nAssist with freight planning, routing, and transportation reporting\nSupport carrier relationship management and contribute to service improvement initiatives\nInvestigate freight-related issues and assist in developing corrective actions\nContribute to continuous improvement opportunities within logistics and transportation processes\nPerform other duties as assigned\n College diploma or university degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field\n2-5 years of transportation, freight coordination, logistics, or supply chain experience is considered an asset\nStrong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills\nExcellent organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities\nEffective communication and problem-solving skills\nHigh attention to detail and commitment to accuracy\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications\nAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment\nDemonstrated willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow
