Discover, synthesize, and analyze information from a variety of sources within JDI enterprise. Responsibilities will include eliciting and documenting the actual needs of stakeholders-which frequently involves investigating and clarifying their expressed desires-to determine underlying issues and causes.\nAll successful applicants must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).\n Business analysis is performed on a variety of initiatives within an enterprise. Initiatives can be strategic, tactical, and operational. This environment will provide opportunity to work within the boundaries of a project or throughout enterprise evolution and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include:\nUnderstanding customer demand versus IT supply\nPerforming requirements elicitation & documentation\nBuilding use cases (definition and development) and developing test cases\nDocumenting business processes\nTranslating business process model to technical realization\nUnderstanding key business data and quality\nUnderstanding capability of analytics tools and enabling business to act from analytical insight\nManaging integrity, confidentiality, and security of all datasets\nExpediting data analysis and reporting\nUnderstanding the risk tolerance/profile of the business\nCollaborating with design and architecture\n A University Degree in a related discipline\nAt least 2 years work experience in a business environment\nPreferably experience in an IT work environment\nIntermediate or above level of Microsoft Office skills, with particular attention to Excel\nWorking knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint\nExperience with securely integrating external and internal systems\nTechnically inclined, process oriented and driven by a natural curiosity\nHappy in an environment where you can work independently as well as collaboratively\nAn information addict -
