Working alongside experienced analysts and subject matter experts, you will contribute to the collection, organization, validation, and analysis of data while building foundational skills in data management, reporting, and automation.\nIn this role, you will help answer critical questions such as:\nHow do we ensure data is accurate, organized, and accessible?\nWhat insights can be uncovered to support better business decisions?\nHow can data processes be improved to increase efficiency, consistency, and traceability?\nYour work will directly influence how data is used across Fleetway, how information supports business decisions, and how reliable and accessible data assets remain over time. The decisions you contribute to will be built into a once-in-a-generation shipbuilding program, connecting your experience to long-term national capability.\nCollect, clean, organize, and maintain data from multiple sources to support reporting and analytical activities.\nPrepare and manage structured datasets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, traceability, and proper documentation.\nPerform routine data validation, quality assurance, and reconciliation activities to identify and resolve data issues.\nExecute repeatable data processing and transformation workflows using tools such as Microsoft Excel and Power Query.\nMaintain standardized file structures, naming conventions, and documentation practices.\nSupport the preparation of datasets for analysis, reporting, and business decision-making.\nConduct basic data analysis and generate summaries, tables, charts, and other reporting outputs under guidance.\nAssist with the documentation and communication of analytical findings and reporting results.\nMaintain clear records of datasets, processes, and workflows to support repeatability and knowledge sharing.\nContribute to the development and improvement of data management standards, processes, and best practices.\nIdentify opportunities to enhance data quality, efficiency, and consistency through continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborate with team members and stakeholders to support data-related projects and operational requirements.\n Education\nBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or a related field.\nExperience\nA minimum of 2 years of experience in data preparation, data management, reporting, or analytics-related activities.\nExperience using Microsoft Excel for data organization, validation, and analysis.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large datasets.\nEffective analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.\nExposure to Power Query, Power BI, SQL, or similar data tools would be considered an asset.\nExperience working with data validation, reporting, or data quality processes would be considered an asset.\nWe're committed to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion\nFleetway is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
