This is a prime opportunity if you are a Labourer Apprentice wanting to build your knowledge and begin to grow within the Construction industry.\nPosition Overview\nAs a Labourer Apprentice with Maritime Civil & Energy Limited, you will carry out various tasks to support earthworks, road construction, and general site operations. This role requires physical stamina, awareness of safety practices, and the ability to work as part of a high-performing crew on a remote project.\nWork Schedule\n14 days on / 7 days off rotation\n12-hour shifts (day and night rotations may apply)\nCamp-based position with accommodations and meals provided\n(The Hourly rate for this role will be $36.74 per hour.)\n Assist with civil construction tasks including grading support, material handling, and site preparation\nPerform manual labour duties such as shoveling, raking, staking, and basic hand tool use\nSupport equipment operators by spotting, directing trucks, and maintaining safe working distances\nSet up and dismantle work zones, signage, and barriers\nMaintain clean and organized work areas\nFollow all safety policies, participate in daily toolbox talks, and report hazards\nWork collaboratively with supervisors, operators, and other crew members\n No Prior construction experience required, training is provided \nPrevious experience in construction, heavy civil, or industrial labour considered an asset\nHigh school diploma or equivalent considered an asset\nAbility to work long shifts in a remote, camp-based environment\nPhysically capable of lifting, bending, climbing, and performing repetitive tasks\nStrong commitment to safety and teamwork\nAbility to follow instructions and communicate effectively\nValid driver’s license\nParticipate in training and on-the-job learning opportunities to develop trade skills\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive Wages\nCamp accommodations and meals provided at no cost\nAbout Us\nFounded in 1882, J.D.
