The Courier Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily courier operations by ensuring freight is accurately manifested, routes are optimized, customer inquiries are addressed promptly, and operational reporting requirements are completed. Operations\nCoordinate daily courier activities to support on-time pickup and delivery performance.\nAssist with morning courier sort and freight distribution.\nMonitor route progress and communicate service concerns to Operations.\nSupport dispatch activities during peak periods and absences.\nTrack and follow up on undelivered shipments and service exceptions.\nEnsure courier freight is accurately manifested and scanned.\nCustomer Service & Communication\nRespond to courier-related customer inquiries and service requests.\nProvide shipment updates and delivery status information.\nResolve customer concerns or escalate issues as required.\nSupport proactive communication regarding service disruptions and delays.\nReporting & Administration\nComplete and distribute daily operational reports.\nMonitor courier performance metrics and service levels.\nAssist with tracking external agent’s freight and other designated customer accounts.\nMaintain accurate operational records and documentation.\nManage cash collects\nSupport payroll preparation and administrative functions as assigned.\nOperational Support\nProvide coverage for operational reporting during vacations and absences.\nAssist with appointment scheduling and freight coordination.\nSupport OS&D investigations and shipment tracing on courier\nWork closely with Operations Supervisor and Dispatch supervisor to identify service improvement opportunities.\nAssist with training and onboarding of new courier employees.\nCompliance & Safety\nEnsure operational processes follow company policies and procedures.\nMaintain accurate documentation required for regulatory and company compliance.\nReport any courier vehicle concerns to Ops Supervisor\nPromote safe work practices and report operational concerns.\n Education & Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nTransportation, logistics, customer service, or dispatch experience considered an asset.\nExperience in LTL transportation operations preferred.\nSkills & Abilities\nStrong organizational and multitasking skills.\nExcellent communication and customer service abilities.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nProficient with Microsoft Office and transportation management systems.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to build positive working
