balance hands-on merchandising execution with people leadership responsibilities, creating a high-performing team focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sales growth.\nLead the department by setting the example in safety, customer service, and merchandising excellence.\nDrive sales through effective merchandising strategies, product presentation, and promotional execution.\nExecute merchandising resets and planograms provided by the Merchandising and Planogram teams.\nLead seasonal space transitions, end caps, dump bins, promotional displays, and advertising campaigns.\nEnsure displays are properly functioning, priced, down-stocked, front-faced, and maintained to company standards.\nCommunicate priorities clearly and provide associates with the tools, training, and support needed to succeed.\nCoach, develop, and motivate associates through regular feedback and performance conversations.\nAnalyze department performance and implement action plans to achieve sales and operational goals.\nCollaborate with store leadership and cross-functional teams to support store initiatives and merchandising projects.\nMaintain inventory accuracy and uphold loss prevention, safety, and operational standards.\nResolve associate and customer concerns professionally while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.\n Proven leadership experience in a retail, merchandising, or supervisory role.\nPrevious merchandising, planogram, or retail operations experience preferred.\nStrong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.\nExceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nPassion for customer service and achieving business results.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to collaborate effectively with multiple teams across the organization.\nWorking knowledge of hand tools, drills, and other equipment used in merchandising projects.\nProduct knowledge and home improvement retail experience are considered assets.\nAbility to lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods.\nCSA-approved steel-toed footwear required while on
