Rieger & Co. is seeking a dependable, hands-on Production & Warehouse Associate to support daily operations at our Kansas City distillery. This position works across bottling, packaging, shipping, warehouse organization, cleaning, and general maintenance to help keep our production operations running safely and efficiently.\nThe ideal candidate takes pride in quality work, enjoys being part of a team, and is willing to learn and assist wherever needed. Previous distillery experience is welcome but not required.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssist with bottling line setup, operation, changeovers, and cleanup, including filling, labeling, packing, and inspecting finished products.\nAssemble packaging, pack cases, build pallets, and prepare products for storage or shipment.\nPick, verify, pack, and label outgoing orders accurately.\nAssist with receiving deliveries, unloading materials, and checking quantities against shipment records.\nOrganize finished goods, packaging supplies, tools, and equipment; support inventory counts and accurate recordkeeping.\nClean and sanitize production equipment and work areas according to established procedures.\nPerform routine housekeeping and basic facility and equipment maintenance within training and authorization.\nSafely move materials using pallet jacks and, following required training and authorization, forklifts.\nFollow safety, sanitation, and quality standards; promptly report equipment issues, damaged products, and unsafe conditions.\nSupport additional production and warehouse tasks as assigned.\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:\nStarting hourly pay: $19-$23 based on relevant experience and skills\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible full-time employees\nPaid time off accrued on an hourly basis, subject to eligibility and company policy\n401(k) retirement plan, subject to plan eligibility requirements\nOvertime compensation as required by applicable law\nHELPFUL EXPERIENCE:\nExperience in warehousing, shipping and receiving, manufacturing, bottling, or packaging.\nPrevious forklift training or certification and safe operating experience.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing, brewing, or distillation equipment.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools.\nExperience with inventory systems, shipping software, or production records.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:\nReliable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.\nBasic counting, math, and recordkeeping skills.\nComfortable performing repetitive tasks and adapting to changing production priorities.\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, and regularly lift and move cases and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to work in production and warehouse environments with varying temperatures, equipment noise, and required personal protective equipment.\nThe physical requirements and work-environment conditions described above represent those generally necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
