Our programs equip you with the knowledge and training you need to play a valuable role on your team and establish a long-term career.\nInvestigate mechanical systems failures and incidents, and review the design, operation and maintenance of the mechanical systems to identify system requirements\nConduct field inspections, loss analysis, testing, and data collection\nDetermine the scope of damage (water, physical, electrical, smoke, etc.) to the components and advise on repairability of damaged equipment.\nAnalyze invoices, purchase orders, budgets, schedules submitted in relation to damaged equipment\nPrepare written technical reports detailing project scopes, findings obtained from damage assessment and estimates, causation/failure analysis, and test results.\nManage multiple project assignments and execute them on time and within budget.\n Required Qualifications\nGraduated and completed studies from a reputable mechanical engineering program. \n3+ years of relevant work experience (internships included)\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong mechanical aptitude to interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. \nStrong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information in clear language.\nDemonstrated time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently\nProficiency in using the full suite of Microsoft Office products and strong presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels\nExcellent attention to detail.\nAble to travel to sites when necessary\nCandidate must be eligible to work in Canada without the need for employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future\nPreferred Qualifications\nEIT or P.Eng as a preference\nTechnical report writing skills in relation to engineering analysis, feasibility, and optioning for design, installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of Electro-Mechanical devices used in commercial or industrial facilities.\nDeveloping curiosity about the inspection, and loss assessment of mechanical components including but not limited to Steam & Water Boilers & Heat Exchanger Systems, Air- & Water-Cooled Chillers/Cooling Towers, Pressure Vessels, Piping & Insulation Systems, and Refrigeration Systems & Equipment as well as industrial machinery and equipment used in manufacturing facilities and construction and transportation \nBasic knowledge of using CAD Software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Revit platform to produce 3D models and drawings; and a willingness to learn additional programs to support the design, drawings, and schedules required for equipment loss assessment.\nPhysical and Mental Job Qualifications\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. \nMust be able to travel to various project sites and conduct field investigations.\nMust be able to work at heights to periodically access and work on roofs, scaffolds, lifts, and other elevated surfaces.\nMust be able to work in hot and cold environments, both indoors and outdoors and work in enclosed spaces (attics, crawlspaces, etc.) with appropriate personal protection.\nMust be able to lift, transport, set up, and utilize an extension ladder to access roofs and other elevated surfaces.\nPhysically able to climb, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time\n Some of the Benefits We Have Include\nJ.S.
