This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in client relationships, project management, and technical analysis. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding or quick ability to grasp our work, with a significant background in patent law and operational expertise. Most of our work involves semiconductors, circuits, signal analysis, wireless, and electronics. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to understanding patent claims and/or project management.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and manage reverse engineering investigations based on the requirements dictated by a patent claims or other IP-related criteria.\nDeliver evidence of use, also known as claim charts, to support the findings and conclusions of the investigations.\nWork with internal and external personnel to deliver timely results to a client.\nWork with internal and external laboratories to obtain data for the investigations.\nHandle both low-level and executive-level work on the same account.\nAct as a resource for clients on methods to approach investigating their patents.\nAbility to review lists of patents to determine likelihood of infringement.\nPresent clearly and effectively during meetings with C-suite, lawyers, and business owners.\nCollaborate closely with senior management and client stakeholders to achieve project goals.\nIdentify business development opportunities and develop meaningful personal and business relationships.\nManage deadlines and deliverables across multiple projects and industries with varying levels of involvement.\nDrive process improvements and operational excellence across projects.\nMaintain a strong focus on project timelines, deliverables, and budget management.\nUphold the highest ethical standards and maintain credibility in all interactions.\n Required Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related hard science discipline.\n10+ years of progressive experience in patent analysis, reverse engineering, or a related field.\nPatent experience required.\nHighly organized with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nStrong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts.\nProven problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset.\nAbility to adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to independently develop and deliver high-quality work product with limited oversight.\nAbility to work independently, as part of a team, and in leadership capacities as needed.\nWith some mentorship, expect to manage a project from start to finish: starting with creating financial budgets, internal and external resource management, and finally creating an output according to a client’s requirements.\nSelf-motivated with a high degree of initiative, energy, and accountability.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with intellectual property, focused on reverse engineering or product teardowns.\nPatent Agent registration or experience interpreting and analyzing patent claims.\nProject management experience.\nDemonstrated leadership experience, including managing and mentoring teams.\nExperience managing complex projects and delivering high-quality results.\nStrong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.\nPhysical and Mental Job Qualifications:\nMust be able to sit for long period of time\nMust be flexible to work outside of the 8:30am - 5:30pm business hours if needed.\n Some of the Benefits We Have Include\nJ.S.
