He/she is responsible for managing, ensuring inventory accuracy of all direct materials (ingredients & packaging), and including the guiding and performing of cycle counts and annual physical inventories; and assisting with and/or performing daily data entry transactions. Report inventory information to senior leadership each period end, continuously working on ways to improve the information and methods of this communication.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nAbide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, GMP’s, and instructions.\nFollow all safety & SQF Food Safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment. \nEnsure work area and machine is clean and organized, and free of potential hazards to employees. \nPractice to maintain safe work environment.\nVerification that product received from internal and external vendors matches appropriate paperwork and product orders.\nLoad outbound shipments and generate bill of lading information.\nSupport production and maintenance departments in operations requiring product or material movement.\nMaintain shipping data on the BOL and outbound trailer load sheets.\nInspect trailers for condition and cleanliness and document on the inspection log.\nCheck codes and materials to ensure proper product is being produced.\nEnsure product is fit for transport prior to loading.\nEnsure that inventory is being properly logged and tracked.\nReport issues, problems and/or observations daily to Lead/ Manager.\nDemonstrate positive practices with co-workers, providing regular feedback, and contributing to a positive work environment.\nAt the end of shift each person is responsible for general clean up.\nThe employee understands and complies with all food safety policies, procedures and programs as stated in the Company’s Food Safety Manual.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nThe above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the incumbent will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope and classification of the position.
