Ideal candidates are motivated by mission impact, comfortable operating in complex stakeholder environments, and interested in building deep domain expertise while delivering capabilities with real-world national security outcomes.\n\nOn-Site Requirement:\nThe position requires on-site presence at Joint Base San Antonio.\n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nOperate, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) supporting services.\nProvide operational system administration and deployment support across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and private cloud platforms.\nConfigure, test, and implement COTS, FOSS, and custom capabilities within commercial and on-premises cloud environments.\nManage compute, storage, networking, and platform services across multi-enclave cloud environments.\nImplement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation for cloud provisioning and configuration management.\nSupport DevSecOps pipelines by enabling automated deployment, integration, and monitoring of cloud-based applications .\nMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability; implement improvements to optimize operations.\nPerform system administration tasks including patching, upgrades, configuration management, and troubleshooting.\nEnsure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity policies.\nSupport asset management, backup, disaster recovery, and continuity of operations (COOP) processes.\nIdentify and resolve operational issues impacting system performance, scalability, and availability.\nCollaborate with DevSecOps, cybersecurity, data engineering, and software development teams to support integrated delivery.\nSupport incident response and operational troubleshooting activities.\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.\nParticipate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.\n\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical discipline and 8-12 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and 6-10 years of relevant experience additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a Degree.\nCloudOne experience and familiarity with CloudOne internal processes.\nActive Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.\nAt least one of the following foundational qualification pathways consistent with DoD 8140 requirements:\nCurrent DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification appropriate for Intermediate System Administrator roles (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SSCP, or equivalent),\nOfferings listed in the DoD 8140 Training Repository,\nDemonstrated equivalent training and experience qualifying under DoD 8140 foundational qualification alternatives.\nMinimum of 6 years of experience in cloud operations engineering or related field.\nExperience operating and maintaining cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).\nExperience performing system administration in secure DoD or Federal environments.\nExperience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).\nExperience working with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).\nExperience supporting DevSecOps pipelines and automated deployment workflows.\nExperience applying RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to conduct root cause analysis.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nExperience developing and deploying systems via Infrastructure as Code.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nRelevant DoD and/or Industry work experience.\nActive TS/SCI preferred.\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), SAFe Agilist (SA), Program Management Professional (PMI-PMP), SAFe RTE or similar agile project management certification (PMI-ACP).\n\nIf you\\'re looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
