Applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered.\nApplication Administrator I\n** On-site at our Prince George, VA facility. **\nThis role is to support a new factory in Prince George, VA (onsite) startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment. The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex. This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies.\nHow Will You Make an Impact?\nAs an Application Administrator I, at our Prince George, VA facility, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, monitoring, and maintenance of business applications. This role ensures application performance, availability, security, and user support while working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and system administrators. You will assist in application deployments, troubleshooting issues, managing user access, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.\nLocation: On-site at our Prince George, VA facility\nShift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM\nWhat Will You Do?\nPerform routine system administration tasks including user account management, access control, and permissions configuration.\nMonitor application health, performance, and availability, identifying and troubleshooting basic issues.\nAssist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of new application releases and patches.\nProvide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing application-related inquiries and resolving common problems.\nDocument application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.\nCollaborate with senior administrators and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.\nPartner with business users to understand requirements and improve application utilization.\nPerform scheduled system maintenance activities, including backups and data integrity checks.\nAdhere to IT security policies and best practices to ensure data protection and system integrity.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of application support processes and documentation.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nHow Will You Get Here?\nEducation & Experience\nAssociate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, required.\n2-5 years of experience supporting enterprise applications.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nBasic understanding of application administration principles and IT support processes.\nBasic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network fundamentals.\nSQL query and PowerBI experience with ability to create reports.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nEagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs.\nBasic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, visual basic, Visual Studio).\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with ERP, MES, CRM, HRIS, or manufacturing applications.\nExperience with SQL databases and query writing.\nKnowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, or identity management systems.\nExposure to ITIL processes and service management tools.\nExperience with cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365 and Azure-hosted solutions.\nRelevant IT certifications.\nThe pay range for this role is $65,500 - $117,900.
