This role leads the site security program to protect employees, physical assets, intellectual property, customer assets, and sensitive information while ensuring compliance with customer, business, and regulatory requirements. The position partners closely with site leadership, customers, law enforcement agencies, and other stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure working environment.\nHow will you make an impact?\nYou will drive the development, execution, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive security program that protects people, assets, and operations across multiple manufacturing locations. Through strong leadership, risk mitigation, and stakeholder collaboration, you will help ensure business continuity, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.\nWhat will you do?\nLead and manage physical security operations for the Memphis and Byhalia facilities.\nDevelop, implement, and continuously improve site security policies, procedures, standards, and controls.\nOversee access control systems, video surveillance, asset protection programs, and workplace violence prevention initiatives.\nEnsure appropriate security controls are maintained in confidential, restricted, and sensitive work areas.\nConduct routine security audits and assessments to verify compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and security standards.\nPerform security risk assessments and develop mitigation and corrective action plans in partnership with site leadership.\nEstablish effective employee entry and exit processes to minimize traffic congestion during shift changes.\nConduct routine patrols and train security personnel to identify and report potential security risks.\nLead investigations involving theft, security breaches, workplace security incidents, loss of assets, and unauthorized access.\nManage and support physical security systems, monitoring tools, and security technology improvement projects.\nDevelop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees and contractors.\nCoordinate emergency response activities and support Emergency Response Planning and Continuity of Operations programs.\nServe as the primary point of contact for security-related customer audits, assessments, and inquiries.\nBuild and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and external security partners.\nCommunicate security incidents, trends, risks, and corrective actions to management and key stakeholders.\nLead, coach, develop, and manage site security personnel while ensuring effective deployment of security resources.\nPartner with operational and functional leaders to integrate security requirements into site operations.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit findings, investigations, risk assessments, and business needs.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nHow will you get here?\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5-7 years of progressive security experience, including 1-2 years in a lead or leadership capacity.\nExperience managing or supporting physical security programs in manufacturing, industrial, corporate, or similarly complex environments.\nExperience with access control systems, video surveillance technology, and physical security monitoring platforms.\nExperience conducting security investigations, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action planning.\nExperience supporting Emergency Response Planning and Continuity of Operations programs.\nExperience collaborating with law enforcement agencies, emergency response organizations, customers, and internal stakeholders.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities\nStrong knowledge of physical security principles, including access control, surveillance, asset protection, incident response, investigations, and workplace violence prevention.\nUnderstanding of applicable laws, regulations, and best practices related to corporate and physical security.\nAbility to identify security vulnerabilities, assess risk, and implement effective mitigation strategies.\nStrong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present security information to employees, customers, leadership teams, and external agencies.\nAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities and security-related projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment.\nProven ability to lead, coach, and develop security personnel.\nStrong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to respond professionally and effectively to sensitive or complex security situations.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related business systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMilitary, law enforcement, or related public safety experience.\nProfessional security certifications (ASIS, CPP, PSP, or similar) preferred.\nExperience supporting customer-facing security audits and compliance assessments.\nExperience leading security programs across multiple sites or locations.\nWhat Can Jabil Offer You?\nAlong with growth, stability, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a global organization, Jabil offers a collaborative environment where employees are empowered to innovate, develop professionally, and contribute to protecting people, assets, and operations.
