The Contracts Specialist at Jabil, Inc. supports the legal team by managing and administering a variety of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This role involves drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and tracking contractual agreements to facilitate efficient business operations.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), master service agreements (MSAs), statements of work (SOWs), supply agreements, and purchasing agreements.
Ensure all contracts comply with Jabil's internal policies, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Collaborate with various internal departments (e.g., sales, procurement, engineering, finance) to understand contractual needs and provide guidance on contract terms and conditions.
Manage the contract lifecycle from initiation to execution and renewal/termination, utilizing contract management systems.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks, escalating complex legal issues to senior legal counsel as necessary.
Maintain accurate and organized contract records and documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of contract templates and standard operating procedures.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Participate in special projects as assigned by the legal department.
