The Engineering Assistant I will work a fixed shift pattern to ensure efficient operation and troubleshooting of production processes at the CVG 300 facility.\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerform routine setup, calibration, and maintenance of test equipment and fixtures.\n\nExecute standardized test procedures on products and components, accurately recording results.\n\nAssist engineers in the analysis of test data and identification of product defects or process anomalies.\n\nTroubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs under supervision.\n\nCollect and organize data for engineering reports and presentations.\n\nSupport engineers in the development and implementation of process improvements.\n\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.\n\nProvide feedback to engineers on recurring issues or potential improvements in testing procedures.\n\nMay assist with inventory management of engineering materials and components.\n\nOperate within the designated shift schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday / Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 6 pm to 6 am.\n\n Job Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n\nAssociate's degree in engineering technology or a related field preferred.\n\nMinimum of 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical support role.\n\nBasic understanding of electronic components and test methodologies.\n\nProficiency in using standard lab equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes) preferred.\n\nAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.\n\nGood communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nBasic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\n\nMust be able to work the specified 12-hour shift schedule, including weekends.\n\nPhysical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.\n\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
