Develop and maintain the processes and methods for process and equipment capability development & documentation, system design & documentation, and requirements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nENGINEERING RESPONSIBILITIES\nDeeply rooted in SMT technologies process and materials\nUnderstand roadmap required for Nvidia\nDefine critical process deliverables\nExplore solutions conduct structures paper qualification\nConduct POCs on capabilities\nIndustrialize based on product\nOperationalize processes to achieve time to quality and volume\nCommunication\nProvide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department and management\nCompile roadmap activities and present timelines\nFUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES\nBusiness Strategy and Direction\nKnow and understand the campus strategic directions\nDevelop an understanding of the Work Cell business strategy as it pertains to Engineering Services\nCost Management\nIdentify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of processes and systems)\nProvide feedback to peers, BUMs and Director Engineering Services on cost and cost trends\nManage creation and submission of project proposals and quotations\nTECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES\nGuide and oversee the deploy of processes/products to maintain the capability required\nLead the development and implementation of platform and product architectures in collaboration with technical staff\nAnalyze new components and development tools and provide guidance on their use\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry\nStrong Foundational knowledge in SMT\nStrong and convincing communication skills\nProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering\nMin 6 years’ experience in SMT manufacturing experience\n10 years experience in a research and development and/or manufacturing environment and 3 years of development laboratory experience\nMaster's preferred.
