The role is responsible for production plant services, including preventive maintenance, facility equipment upgrades, and electrical system maintenance.\nResponsibilities\nResponsible for preventive and routine maintenance; overhaul and modification of building and production equipment; emergency repair of buildings, equipment and utility systems\nAssumes responsibility for complete in-house janitorial service and ground maintenance.\nAssumes responsibility for site environmental compliance programs.\nAssures all Federal, State and Local permits are obtained and continue current.\nActs as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies.\nAssures that all electrical, mechanical and construction work is performed in conformance with applicable codes and regulations.\nAssumes responsibility of Safety Officer. Assures that each employee is formally trained in safety, which includes knowledge of hazards and protective measures required to prevent injury or illness.\nEstablish and maintain the building's operational flexibility. Evaluate and carry out improvements for higher operational efficiency in plant utilities.\nResponsible for all electrical safety.\nPlan and ensure monthly budget accuracy.\nPlan, coordinate and ensure all facilities works compliance with required specifications, regulatory requirement, quality of work and safety standards.\nSupport and assist the Functional Manager with day to day activities.\nDrive continuous improvement in all aspects of facilities operations in terms of cost, performance and efficiency.\nMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, plus 4-7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nStrong technical background in facilities and maintenance within a manufacturing environment, with experience in preventive maintenance and facility systems.\nProven leadership experience with the ability to lead a team, manage schedules and timecards, address employee concerns, and support daily operations.\nExperience working with vendors and suppliers to coordinate parts, materials, and services needed to maintain equipment and operations.\nFamiliarity with SAP, maintenance management software, and procurement tools such as Coupa.\nStrong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
