Group Lead (A4) - 404
Job Summary**
Responsible for leading a team in a manufacturing environment, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and safely, and maintaining quality standards for assigned work cell 404.
Job Responsibilities**
* Supervise, train, and mentor a team of production operators within work cell 404, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Monitor daily production schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks, adhering to Jabil’s manufacturing processes and procedures.
* Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, equipment issues, and quality deviations promptly.
* Conduct regular quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
* Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor utilization.
* Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality, maintenance) to address operational challenges and improve processes.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
* Perform performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Job Qualifications**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and production schedules.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
