Ensures the organization's current and future HR requirements are met. Liaise with area managers to develop and implement HR strategies that are appropriate for their business needs and consistent with the organization's overall HR strategy. Effectively administers programs in accordance with established policies and procedures including EEO and ADA compliance.\nLocation\nThis role will be based on-site at our San Jose, CA facility.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nMonitors and implements HR policies and objectives.\nDetermines and recommends employee relation practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.\nIdentifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the Human Resources function (i.e. EEO, ERISA, Wage & Hour).\nMonitors exposure of the company.\nDirects the participation of information requested or required for compliance.\nProtects interests of employees and the company in accordance with company Human Resources policies and government laws and regulations.\nApproves recommendations for terminations.\nDefines and executes all Human Resources programs.\nProvides necessary education and materials to line management and employees - workshops, manuals, employee handbooks, standardized reports.\nMonitors recruitment and onboarding process.\nEnsures vacancies are filled in a timely manner and that employees are onboarded in a compliant manner.\nProvides for a positive new hire experience.\nKeeps managers informed of significant problems that jeopardize the achievement of objectives, and those which are not being addressed adequately at the functional management level.\nLeads end to end employee investigations.\nArchitects employee and community engagement strategy.\nExchanges knowledge and information with other facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the organization.\nMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nEducation & Experience Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field; Master’s preferred.\nHuman Resources Management Certificate and/or PHR or SPHR desired.\n8-10+ years of experience in a relevant HR role, which includes, which includes some site leadership/people leadership experience.\nManufacturing experience highly preferred.\nOr a combination of education, experience and/or training.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities\nAbility to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.\nAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nStrong and convincing communication skills.\nProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.\nAbility to travel at least once a quarter.\nThe pay range for this role is $122,800 - $221,000.
