This role serves as a developmental step toward supervision by supporting team performance, training associates, monitoring inventory accuracy, and assisting with operational execution. The Lead I work closely with Inventory Control Supervisors to ensure process compliance, problem resolution, and achievement of departmental goals.\nKey responsibilities include:\nProviding daily direction and support to Inventory Control associates and Material Handlers.\nCoordinating workflow and prioritizing tasks to meet operational requirements.\nSupporting inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.\nTraining, coaching, and mentoring team members.\nMonitoring compliance with inventory procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.\nAssisting with troubleshooting inventory discrepancies and operational issues.\nSupporting material flow activities and cross-functional coordination.\nTracking performance metrics and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.\nExperience using ERP systems such as SAP and inventory management tools.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to coach and influence others without direct supervisory authority.\nProficient with Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and meet operational deadlines.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
