The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based MES applications that support manufacturing operations. You will work closely with manufacturing engineers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that improve production efficiency and operational visibility.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Angular.\nDevelop user-friendly interfaces for MES applications used in manufacturing environments.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.\nIntegrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.\nSupport MES modules such as:Production Management\nWork Order Execution\nQuality Management\nEquipment Monitoring\nTraceability and Genealogy\nMaterial Tracking\n\nTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in production environments.\nOptimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.\nParticipate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.\nPrepare technical documentation and provide user support when required.\nWork closely with QA teams to ensure software quality and reliability.\nProvide L3 support for Shop Floor / MES application incidents, service requests, and defects\nProvide on-call support following the “follow-the-sun” model, ensuring cross-region coverage and continuous production support\nPerform root cause analysis and provide effective solutions or workarounds to minimize production impact\nSupport MES releases, patches, and deployments, including validation and business buy-off\nCoordinate with Site IT, Regional, and Global teams for issue escalation and resolution\nSupport UAT, regression testing, and post-deployment activities\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of experience in Angular development.\nStrong proficiency in:JavaScript\nHTML5\nCSS3\nTypescript\n\nExperience with RESTful APIs and JSON.\nGood understanding of version control systems such as Git.\nExperience with SQL databases.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes and factory operations.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing standards and concepts such as:OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)\nProduction Scheduling\nQuality Control\nShop Floor Data Collection\nBarcode/PFC/Conveyor integration\n\nExperience integrating MES with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.\nKnowledge of OPC, PLC, CAMX, CFX or industrial communication protocols is an advantage.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nTechnical Skills\nFront-End\nAngular\nTypescript\nJavaScript (ES5/ES6)\nHTML5\nCSS3\nBootstrap\nBack-End (Preferred)\n.NET / Java / Node.js\nREST APIs\nSQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL\nTools\nGit\nAzure DevOps or Jira\nVisual Studio Code or Visual Studio\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
