Develops and communicates technical solutions to other engineers and business personnel, relying on experience and understanding of their field and acting independently except in the most complex cases. Drive cross functional project teams in solving technical problems and overcoming hurdles that may affect project timelines.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelops and validates embedded hardware design applications of a complex nature.\nIndependently develops embedded hardware design for Mechanical large form products Industrial and residential segments related.\nDesigns all aspects of electronical circuits with minimal supervision.\nCollaborate with system architects to review and clarify design requirements and architecture and translates them into design specifications.\nIndependently assembles prototypes and validates proper functionality\nWorks with and manages external component suppliers/manufacturers\nCommunicates complex technical aspects of a project effectively to customers, and collects incorporates feedback into design specifications.\nIdentifies design innovations and potential patentable solutions.\nCollaborates on embedded Firmware design.\nMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\nKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS\nTECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\nComprehensive knowledge (with limited complexity) of Industry or specific sector, regulatory and safety standards.\nLarge scale electro mechanical systems\nHVAC / thermal plant / fluid systems\nControls and power distribution for infrastructure (industrial, PLC-oriented)\nNON-TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS\nInfluence others and share best practices\nEffectively communicate with good understanding of English.\nWork as part of a global team\nLead others in some aspects of technical tasks\nAssess a project and articulating risk while developing project milestones.\nDevelop projects in a stage-gate process (PLCQ)\nMentor less experienced engineers.\nParticipates in cross-functional design reviews and can lead some aspects of EE design reviews.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nElectrical Engineering Degree (BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience)\n5+ years experience in embedded hardware design or other key competency\nOr an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
