This role involves analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and quality.\nJob Responsibilities\nAnalyze current manufacturing processes, workflows, and production layouts to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.\nDevelop and implement solutions using industrial engineering methodologies, such as time studies, motion studies, and process mapping.\nDesign and optimize work methods, equipment utilization, and material flow to maximize output and minimize waste.\nConduct capacity planning and resource allocation studies to ensure optimal utilization of personnel and machinery.\nDevelop and maintain engineering documentation, including process instructions, standard operating procedures, and work standards.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and supply chain, to implement engineering changes and process improvements.\nParticipate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring efficient and manufacturable designs.\nApply Lean and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollect and analyze data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and measure the impact of implemented solutions.\nPresent findings and recommendations to management and relevant stakeholders.\nJob Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\n0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing or contract manufacturing.\nStrong understanding of industrial engineering principles and methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, time studies, process mapping, capacity planning).\nProficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, JMP).\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nFamiliarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
