You will gain valuable experience in production layouts, process mapping, workstation design, and continuous improvement while contributing to projects that help drive productivity and operational excellence.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field to apply classroom knowledge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and develop practical engineering skills.\nWhat Will You Do?\nAssist with production line moves, layout modifications, and process change initiatives.\nSupport Industrial Engineers in planning and preparing manufacturing areas for equipment or process changes.\nMaintain and update the Industrial Engineering Database (IEDB) and other engineering systems.\nCreate and update production visuals, work instructions, and process documentation.\nAssist with ordering, receiving, and validating production tooling and equipment.\nSupport process standardization efforts in alignment with Jabil's global, regional, and site requirements.\nHelp ensure data accuracy and integrity to support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.\nParticipate in process improvement projects focused on efficiency, productivity, and waste reduction.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and engineering projects.\nPerform other duties and special projects as assigned.\nHow Will You Get Here?\nEducation\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience\nPrevious internship, project work, or academic experience related to manufacturing, process improvement, or industrial engineering is a plus.\nExperience working on engineering projects, process mapping, or data analysis through coursework is beneficial.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nBasic understanding of industrial engineering concepts including work measurement, process mapping, facilities layout, and workstation design.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate data and documentation.\nAnalytical mindset with the ability to evaluate processes and identify improvement opportunities.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience using Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, or AutoCAD.\nExposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma concepts.\nInterest in manufacturing operations, production systems, and process optimization.\nStrong organizational and time management skills.\nWhat Can Jabil Offer You?\nHands-on experience in a global manufacturing environment\nMentorship from experienced engineering professionals\nExposure to Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives\nReal-world project experience that complements academic learning\nProfessional development and networking opportunities\nOpportunities to build technical, analytical, and leadership skills\nPotential pathways to future internship, co-op, or full-time career opportunities within Jabil\nThe hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00.
