This internship offers exposure to real-time project implementations in GL month-end closing activities, as well as data analytics for future projects’ decision-making.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport daily General Ledger (GL) operations and month-end closing activities for assigned entities/sites under the guidance of supervisors and full-time employees (FTEs)\nCoordinate the collection, preparation, and validation of financial data, while liaising with stakeholders and PICs to ensure information is complete and submitted on time\nAssist in data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting activities to support accurate financial records and smooth closing processes\nSupport finance-related projects, process improvement initiatives, and other ad hoc assignments as required\nAssist and support on Accounts Payable (AP) processes\nAdhere to company policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of financial information\nEffectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, especially during peak month-end closing periods with tight timelines\nParticipate actively in training and development opportunities while working closely with a dedicated mentor to build professional skills\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nDegree in Accounting, Finance or related fields of study\nBasic understanding of accounting concepts (e.g. accruals, amortization, allocations)\nMicrosoft Excel proficiency\nGood communication and interpersonal skills\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills\nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight month-end closing deadlines\nWillingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment\nMandarin proficiency is an added advantage\nOptional Skills:\nKnowledge and interest in SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems\nExperience with Power BI or other reporting/analytics tools\nIntermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP)\nPrevious internship, project, or coursework related to accounting or finance\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
