This role will work closely with Inventory Control, Warehouse, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to analyze inventory data, support physical inventory activities, drive process improvements, and partner with shift leadership to ensure efficient inventory control processes. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, and data analytics to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges.\nCo-op Duties & Responsibilitie s\nSupport inventory control activities to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with established processes.\nAssist with cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliations, and root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies.\nAnalyze inventory trends, transaction data, and operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.\nCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs that support inventory management and operational decision-making.\nPartner closely with the Shift Manager to support daily inventory control operations and drive execution of inventory-related initiatives.\nProvide leadership through influence by helping coordinate inventory activities, communicating priorities, and supporting team members in achieving operational goals.\nAssist with training, documentation, and communication of inventory control procedures and best practices.\nWork cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to resolve inventory-related issues.\nUtilize SAP, WMS, Excel, Power BI, and other tools to analyze and manage inventory data.\nIdentify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements that enhance inventory accuracy, productivity, and overall operational performance.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives through data collection, analysis, reporting, and implementation of corrective actions.\nEnsure compliance with all company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and inventory control procedures.\nQualifications\nMajor(s): Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field\nClass Year(s): Rising Junior\nAvailability: Must be available to work in Florence, Kentucky from January 11, 2027 through April 29, 2027\nWork Shift: M-F, first shift, 8 hours\nTechnical Skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\nExperience analyzing data and identifying trends or process improvement opportunities.\nFamiliarity with Power BI, SAP, WMS, or ERP systems preferred.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nInterest in inventory management, supply chain operations, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.\nProfessional & Leadership Skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to lead through influence and work effectively in a team environment.\nComfortable collaborating with associates, supervisors, and cross-functional partners.\nSelf-starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nDemonstrated initiative, accountability, and willingness to take ownership of projects and process improvements.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
