May also cycle count other areas within the Operation, aid in root cause analysis, and suggest process improvements.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform cycle count duties and record actual results within assigned area(s):\nPhysically cycle count material.\nRecord actual count results without manipulation.\nCommunicate count results to necessary personnel.\nUtilize scanners when appropriate for performing ERP transactions.\nOther related duties, which could include:\nAid in root cause analysis.\nSuggest process improvements.\nCycle counting various areas throughout the Operation.\nCoordinate activities with the Warehouse Supervisor and other functional areas of Inventory Control within the Operation.\nInvolved in the coordination and/or execution of a physical inventory.\nMANAGEMENT & SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nTypically reports to Management. Inventory Control Manager or Department Supervisor\nJob is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\nKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nAbility to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.\nAdvanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.\nAbility to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.\nAbility to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nHigh School diploma or equivalent required.\nA good materials and manufacturing process knowledge.\nBe computer literate.\nGood knowledge of SAP.\nA high attention to detail.\nOr an equivalent combination of education, training or experience\nWORKING CONDITIONS\nRegular business hours.
