Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.Job Summary\nThe Line Lead I is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of a production line, ensuring efficient operation, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety regulations.\nCVG-200 Wednesday/Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm (shift 403)\nJob Responsibilities\nLead and supervise a small team of production operators, providing guidance and support.\nAssign tasks and responsibilities to line personnel to optimize workflow and meet production targets.\nMonitor production processes to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.\nIdentify and resolve production issues, escalating complex problems to higher management as needed.\nConduct regular quality checks and inspections of products throughout the production cycle.\nEnsure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed by line personnel.\nTrain new team members on production processes, safety protocols, and company policies.\nMaintain accurate production records, including output, downtime, and quality data.\nCommunicate production status, issues, and achievements to supervisors and other relevant departments.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line efficiency and productivity.\nOperate production equipment and machinery as required.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area.\nJob Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\n1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with some leadership or supervisory experience preferred.\nStrong understanding of production processes and quality control principles.\nAbility to lead and motivate a team effectively.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nProficiency in problem-solving and decision-making.\nBasic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.\nAbility to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.\nFamiliarity with safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing setting.\nAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.\nFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
