Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\nJob Summary\n Maintenance Technician II is responsible for repairing, adjusting, and maintaining facility equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive, hands-on contributor who is committed to continuous improvement and finding effective solutions.\nShift 2: Mon - Thr (4:30pm - 2:30am)\nResponsibilities\nPerform electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs on facility fixtures and equipment.\nInstall, relocate, and recommission new or existing equipment as needed.\nMaintain and repair air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum systems that support production operations.\nComplete basic engineering calculations related to new equipment installations.\nUpdate mechanical drawings and prints to reflect approved changes.\nService and maintain HVAC and ventilation systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.\nProvide recommendations to the supervisor for equipment upgrades and process improvements.\nMaintain accurate maintenance records for assigned equipment.\nTroubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.\nExecute preventive maintenance activities and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.\nFollow all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.\nAdhere to company security policies and established procedures.\nQualifications\nHS Diploma or equivalent required\n3-5 years experience; or demonstrated skills required to perform the job\nHands-on experience with warehouse equipment, basic electrical work, lighting systems, equipment installation, assembly, and general repairs.\nStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and apply basic engineering principles to identify solutions.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems, including maintaining records, completing reports, and ordering parts.\nSelf-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to maintenance needs.\nStrong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and growing maintenance environment.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
