improve manufacturing processes to support safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.\nConduct time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing activities to improve manufacturing efficiency and optimize labor utilization.\nDevelop and maintain Standard Work, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Work Instructions to support consistent manufacturing execution.\nCreate, review, and improve process flow diagrams and manufacturing process designs.\nEvaluate existing production methods and recommend improvements to tooling, equipment, workflow, layout, and operator processes.\nSupport the development and implementation of manufacturing processes for new and existing products.\nUtilize 2D and 3D CAD software to support manufacturing layouts, tooling concepts, fixtures, and process improvements.\nSupport Bills of Material (BOM), manufacturing documentation, and product configuration activities as required.\nLean & Continuous Improvement\nApply Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to identify and eliminate waste within manufacturing processes.\nParticipate in and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.\nAnalyze manufacturing performance and identify opportunities to improve process flow, cycle time, labor efficiency, and operational effectiveness.\nSupport Standard Work development and implementation across manufacturing operations.\nCollaborate with production teams to identify process constraints and implement sustainable improvements.\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging operators, technicians, and cross-functional partners in process improvement activities.\nProblem Solving & Quality Support\nLead and participate in structured problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis activities related to manufacturing and quality concerns.\nPartner with Quality and Manufacturing teams to investigate process issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.\nSupport PFMEA and DFMEA activities to identify potential process and product risks and establish appropriate controls.\nAnalyze manufacturing data and process performance to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.\nSupport corrective and preventive actions by ensuring manufacturing improvements are effectively implemented and sustained.\nManufacturing Design & Optimization\nSupport Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) activities to improve product manufacturability and assembly efficiency.\nEvaluate assembly operations and recommend ergonomic improvements that support employee safety and manufacturing efficiency.\nSupport the design, evaluation, and implementation of production tooling, fixtures, equipment, and workstations.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure manufacturing requirements are considered during product and process development.\nSupport manufacturing activities involving electrical devices, electronics, mechanical assemblies, and related products as applicable.\nSystems & Documentation\nCreate, revise, and release manufacturing SOPs, Standard Work Instructions, and other process documentation.\nMaintain accurate engineering and manufacturing information within applicable business systems.\nUtilize SAP ERP or similar ERP systems to support applicable manufacturing and engineering activities.\nMaintain accurate process documentation to support production, training, quality, and audit requirements.\nUtilize applicable Jabil software systems and tools to analyze information and support manufacturing operations.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nPartner with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other teams to resolve production challenges and implement process improvements.\nProvide technical support to production personnel and assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and process-related issues.\nCommunicate engineering changes, process requirements, and improvement activities clearly to affected stakeholders.\nWork collaboratively with operators and manufacturing leadership to ensure process improvements are practical, effective, and sustainable.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and production processes.\nKnowledge and practical application of Standard Work, time studies, capacity analysis, and line balancing.\nWorking knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies and Continuous Improvement principles.\nExperience participating in or leading Lean Continuous Improvement projects.\nStrong problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis skills.\nKnowledge of PFMEA and DFMEA methodologies.\nExperience using 2D and 3D CAD software.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate manufacturing data and translate findings into actionable process improvements.\nAbility to develop and maintain SOPs, Standard Work Instructions, and manufacturing documentation.\nKnowledge of process flow diagrams and process design preferred.\nKnowledge of assembly operator ergonomics and workstation optimization preferred.\nKnowledge of Design for Assembly (DFA), Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and BOM management preferred.\nKnowledge or experience working with electrical devices or electronics preferred.\nPrevious experience using SAP ERP or a similar enterprise resource planning system preferred.\nStrong computer skills and the ability to effectively learn and utilize Jabil software applications.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functional areas.\nDetail-oriented and solutions-focused with a commitment to safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline with at least 2 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience; OR\nMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.\nExperience supporting manufacturing process development, optimization, Standard Work, Lean initiatives, or Continuous Improvement projects strongly
