Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.Job Purpose Summary:\nConduct activities to facilitate the transit of received product for the warehouse function, ensuring accurate records of product receipt, location and movement are created.\nKey Responsibilities & Accountabilities:\nTake delivery of goods and supplies\nVisually inspect all deliveries for defects and ensure that all inspection findings are recorded, including photographic records.\nMove stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck.\nEnsure that any equipment used in the visual inspection are in full working order.\nCheck deliveries in accordance with the daily shipping schedule.\nLiaise internally to resolve issues relating to product issues.\nGood understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality\nEnsure all product is appropriately located and stored and that electronic stock locations are accurately updated and maintained in Global Trader.\nAssist with stock checks when required.\nConduct training activities within the Goods in function when needed.\nTo observe ESD precaution at all time when handling product.\nEnsure your working area is tidy and practice good housekeeping.\nDemonstrate the ability to work as a team with others.\nOperate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements to ensure your own safety and that of others\nHandle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner\nMake recommendations to aid efficiency and add value\nKey requirements:\nEducation: A-level qualified\nAbility to work onsite 5 days a week\nBasic computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office and Excel would be an advantage\nForklift operator license is advantageous, but not a must have\nIdeally 1 year prior experience in a warehouse environment, but we are open to less experience as well\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
