Jabil is seeking a few Material Planners to work at some of our sites.\nShifts Needed:\n Shift 401 - Sun-Tue/Wed (every other Wednesday) 6am-6pm\n Shift 402 - Sun-Tue/Wed (every other Wednesday) 6pm-6am (shift differential offered)\n Shift 403 - Wed/Thu-Saturday (every other Wednesday) - 6am-6pm\n Shift 404 - Wed/Thu-Saturday (every other Wednesday) 6pm-6am (shift differential offered)\nThis position is not eligible for immigration and/or visa sponsorship. Applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered.\nHow will you make an impact?\nAs a Material Planner with Jabil, you will ensure that materials flow efficiently and accurately through the supply chain to support production schedules and customer requirements. You will manage inventory levels, coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, and maintain strong material management controls that directly support operational performance, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.\nWhat will you do?\nDevelop and execute material plans to support production schedules and customer demand.\nMonitor inventory levels, adjust planning strategies, and maintain optimal stock levels to reduce waste and prevent shortages.\nImplement and maintain strong inventory management and control systems.\nCoordinate and oversee all materials control activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.\nManage material flow through receiving, storage, kitting, and distribution functions.\nCollaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and other supply chain teams to ensure smooth materials movement and availability.\nPerform material forecasting and conduct detailed planning to schedule deliveries appropriately.\nApply supply chain control techniques to identify and mitigate risks related to material shortages, overages, or delays.\nAnalyze material usage trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.\nGenerate reports on inventory accuracy, material availability, consumption trends, and supply chain performance.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nHow will you get here?\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.\nAt least 1 years of previous experience in Materials Planning, Supply Chain, Scheduling or other related experience required OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nSAP Experience or other similar ERP system strongly preferred.\nExperience in material planning, inventory control, or supply chain operations working within an electronics manufacturing or high-volume production environment.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nUnderstanding of material planning, inventory management, and materials control principles.\nKnowledge of materials handling and materials management workflows.\nProficiency with ERP systems and inventory management software.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.\nWhat Can Jabil Offer You?\nAlong with growth, stability, and the opportunity to be challenged, Jabil offers a competitive benefits package that includes:\nMedical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and Vision Insurance with HRA and HSA options\n401K Match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nPaid Time Off\nTuition Reimbursement\nLife, AD&D, and Disability Insurance\nCommuter Benefits\nEmployee Assistance Program\nPet Insurance\nAdoption Assistance\nAnnual Merit Increases\nCommunity Volunteer Opportunities\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
