Utilizing hand tools (rivet guns, Torque wrenches, etc.), scanners, and lifting equipment the manufacturing technician (mechanical assembler) will work as part of a collaborative production team while adhering to safety, quality and customer specifications.\nStarting Pay Rate: $19 hr.\nShift: | Shift Differential: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm\nDuties and Responsibilities: \nWork under direct, close supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, Line Manager, or other management as assigned. \nPerform basic, standardized and repetitive assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies or subassemblies. \nAssembles units per customer specifications and visual aids. Coordinates with teammates to organize tasks requiring multiple team members to accomplish. \nUtilizes manual and automated lifting devices while adhering to product safety specifications. \nVisually inspect parts for proper insertion and placement. \nUtilize bar code scanner and small hand tools. \nEnsure assemblies and components are properly handled and marked. \nAccurately maintain progress reports; monitor and restock parts bins as required. \nFollows mostly routine, standardized procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. Resolves routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels. \nProvides information and coordinates action plans at cross-functional meetings and communicates issues with team members and/or visitors to drive corrective actions. \nAssists in area organization 5S attributes. \nMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. \nQualifications:\nMinimum of 1 year of manufacturing, assembly, production, or other relevant hands-on experience preferred. \nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
