This role is critical in ensuring quality standards are met efficiently while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead the startup and implementation of new and existing production projects, focusing on cost, efficiency, and quality optimization.\nEstablish and maintain robust process controls and ensure accurate documentation is in place.\nMonitor ongoing assembly and molding operations; troubleshoot process issues and collaborate with quality teams to resolve defects.\nDevelop and document processes for new product lines, including evaluating performance and supporting new tool design.\nDiagnose and debug moderately complex issues in systems, tooling, and automation.\nDesign and execute experiments to improve process yields, reduce cycle times, and enhance setup efficiency.\nRecommend and implement process improvements and maintenance changes; ensure all modifications are properly documented.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety programs.\nProvide guidance to assembly and material handling personnel as needed.\nSupport and uphold all company safety and quality initiatives.\nPerform additional duties as assigned.\nAssist Tooling Engineers with Design for Manufacture issues.\nOffer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices and processes that are “best in class.”\nUnderstand and drive regulatory and compliance certifications as appropriate (eg. regulatory requirements surrounding ISO9000, ISO14000, AS9100, TUV).\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.\nProven experience in assembly and/or molding processes within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.\nProven experience (min. 5 years) in plastics injection molding\nKnowledge and experience of engineering in medical device manufacturing environment (injection molding preferred).\nProficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required\nRJG Master Molder training (preferred)\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
