Our team members are highly skilled professionals dedicated to producing world-class tooling solutions.\nPosition Overview\nThe Mold Qualification Center Intern will support the engineering and technical teams in the setup, evaluation, and qualification of plastic injection molds. This position provides hands-on experience with injection molding equipment, mold testing, process development, and part inspection. The Intern will work alongside experienced Process Technicians and Engineers to gain practical knowledge of precision moldmaking and injection molding processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist with injection mold setup, installation, and removal from molding machines.\nSupport First-Off Tryout (FOT) and Mold Flow Acceptance / Mold Qualification activities as assigned.\nAssist with process development, troubleshooting, and documentation of molding parameters.\nHelp inspect molded parts and organize samples for dimensional and quality evaluations.\nMaintain accurate records of mold qualification activities, test results, and process changes.\nAssist with mold inspections, basic maintenance, and preparation for qualification trials.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.\nAdhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor\nMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or related college program.\nInterested in plastics manufacturing, precision tooling, injection molding, or mechanical processes.\nBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hands-on technical skills.\nStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and other team members.\nBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office\nDependable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and/or sit for extended periods.\nAbility to visually inspect detailed markings and part features.\nAbility to lift and move materials or components weighing up to 40 pounds.\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive compensation based on experience\n401(k) with company match\nPaid time off and holidays\nCareer growth opportunities within a growing organization\nClean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment\nThe hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00.
