Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.Jabil is seeking a Quality Engineer to work in our plant in Auburn Hills, MI.\nHow Will You Make an Impact?\nAs a Quality Engineer with Jabil, you will support assembly manufacturing by developing and maintaining quality documentation, driving corrective actions, and serving as a liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality solutions in healthcare, analytical instrumentation, and automotive industries, helping ensure product integrity and customer satisfaction.\nWhat Will You Do?\nServe as a liaison between Jabil and suppliers/customers on quality issues.\nDevelop and maintain quality assurance plans and process routings. \nParticipate in or lead the authorship and execution of Process Qualification activities. \nSupport quoting activities including process design, development, and implementation. \nEvaluate and support inspection processes through aids and instructions. \nDevelop and implement specialized training for applicable functional groups. \nConduct periodic reviews and maintain documentation files.\nDevelop systems for document storage and access. \nReview discrepancies and coordinate corrective and preventative actions. \nProvide trend analysis of defects internally and externally. \nParticipate in vendor survey activities as applicable. \nSupport supplier process improvement efforts. \nProvide technical and logistical guidance to the quality engineering team. \nDrive corrective action efforts using SPC data and tracking tools. \nWork safely and comply with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices. \nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nHow Will You Get Here?\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred\nMinimum of 2 years of related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
