This role involves analyzing quality data, identifying areas for improvement, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance.\nJob Responsibilities**\n* Lead and facilitate Lean and Six Sigma projects, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and 5S initiatives, to improve process efficiency, reduce defects, and optimize resource utilization.\n* Develop, implement, and monitor quality control plans, procedures, and specifications to ensure adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).\n* Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues (e.g., failures, defects, customer complaints) using various problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, Fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys) and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\n* Analyze manufacturing data, including yield, defect rates, and process capability, to identify trends, predict potential issues, and recommend data-driven solutions.\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers, to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.\n* Provide training and mentorship to employees on Lean principles, quality tools, and continuous improvement methodologies.\n* Perform internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.\n* Drive the implementation of statistical process control (SPC) and other statistical techniques to monitor and control process variations.\n* Prepare and present quality performance reports to management, highlighting key metrics, project status, and improvement opportunities.\n* Stay updated with industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to quality and Lean manufacturing.\nJob Qualifications**\n* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field.\n* 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, continuous improvement, or a related role within a manufacturing environment.\n* Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.\n* Strong understanding and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED) and continuous improvement methodologies.\n* Proficiency in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and experience with quality tools (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC).\n* Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\n* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.\n* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.\n* Proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n* Experience with auditing quality systems is a plus.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
