Serve as a key resource in product inspections, root cause investigations, quality documentation, and process compliance activities.\nWhat will you do?\nInspect, measure, and test mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components and assemblies.\nVerify material conformance to specifications and interpret company and industry standards.\nGather and maintain technical records related to materials, tools, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.\nConduct First Article Inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final product inspections.\nPrepare Quality Alerts and visual work instructions to support identification of non-conforming material.\nPerform in-process inspections and audits and log results for analysis and reporting.\nCollect records, photographs, and supporting documentation to prepare customer data packages for production batches.\nAssist inspectors as the first point of contact for quality defects and manufacturing issues.\nReview defect samples and verify the effectiveness of containment and purge activities.\nProvide guidance and training to less experienced technicians and inspectors.\nCollect and analyze quality data using statistical analysis methods.\nAssist Quality Engineers with follow-up activities related to Deviations, Engineering Change Notices (ECN), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).\nReview non-conforming materials and products to support disposition and corrective actions.\nSupport root cause investigations and quality improvement initiatives.\nMaintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.\nAdhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.\nComply with all procedures within the company security policy.\nMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nHow will you get here?\nEducation:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\nAssociate’s degree in a technical field preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline is a plus.\nExperience:\nTwo to five years of related quality, manufacturing, inspection, or engineering support experience.\nExperience performing inspections, audits, and quality documentation activities in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience supporting Quality Engineers and corrective action initiatives preferred.\nExperience with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.\nKnowledge of inspection techniques and quality assurance practices.\nAbility to inspect, measure, and test components and assemblies accurately.\nFamiliarity with non-conforming material control and corrective action processes.\nAbility to collect, organize, and maintain technical records and quality documentation.\nExperience performing audits, inspections, and quality data collection.\nKnowledge of statistical analysis methods and quality improvement tools.\nAbility to support CAPA, ECN, and other quality system processes.\nBasic understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing processes.\nStrong attention to detail and analytical skills.\nAbility to identify defects, investigate issues, and support root cause analysis activities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to effectively communicate with customers, inspectors, technicians, engineers, and manufacturing personnel.\nAbility to solve practical problems and work with limited supervision.\nAbility to interpret written, verbal, diagrammatic, and schedule-based instructions.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nUnderstanding of mathematical concepts including probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry.\nUS Citizenship is required to work at this specific site.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.\nExperience conducting First Article Inspections (FAI).\nExperience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or highly regulated industries.\nExperience with CAPA, non-conformance investigations, and root cause analysis methodologies.\nKnowledge of IPC standards, AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality systems.\nExperience using measurement and inspection equipment.\nExperience preparing customer data packages and quality documentation.\nExperience training or mentoring technicians or inspectors.\nFamiliarity with statistical process control (SPC) and quality data
