Supporting Operational Excellence. - Join Velocity Electronics, a Jabil Company, as our next Quality Inspector in Amsterdam, Netherlands.\nWe are seeking a Quality Inspector who utilizes state-of-the-art tools and techniques to ensure products meet manufacturer specifications and customer requirements. This role focuses on objective, instrument-based testing that generates accurate data for evaluation.\nIf you are driven to elevate quality standards and strengthen operational performance that support business success - we want to meet you.\nWhat can you expect to do?\nProduct Inspection: Conduct quality inspections on electronic components and related products to verify compliance with required standards.\n\nTesting & Verification: Utilize advanced inspection tools, equipment, and methodologies to confirm products meet customer specifications and quality expectations.\n\nDocumentation & Reporting: Accurately record inspection results, supporting data, and evidence within Velocity’s ERP system.\n\nVisual Evidence Preparation: Capture and organize photographic documentation to support inspection findings and quality records.\n\nQuality Coordination: Collaborate with Quality Managers to ensure all requested inspections and tests are completed accurately and on time.\n\nCross-Functional Communication: Communicate and explain inspection results to Quality Managers and, when necessary, partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics teams.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned to support business and operational needs.\n\nWhat is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; 4-year college preferred.\n\n4+ years of Experience handling electronic components and/or inspection/quality assurance\n\nWorking knowledge of handling electronic components within an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.\n\nBasic photography and photo editing skills\n\nFamiliarity with basic failure analysis methodologies, such as decapsulation, solder testing, and basic electrical or functional testing (preferred).\n\nThis is an onsite position based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
