Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.The Student Quality Engineer assists in development and implementation of quality plans, programs and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts and analyses. \nKey Responsibilities and End Results: (Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to the following):\nSupport release of assembly batches including offline testing, paperwork, stratified samples management.\nUpdate and creation of work instructions as required.\nSupport of validation and metrology activities.\nDrive changes in process to minimise risk of error in paperwork, sampling or testing.\nWork with team leader, QA operators, line coordinators and batch release specialist to ensure all steps of batch completion and release are defined and executed consistently.\nBe point of co-ordination for all quality issues between automation and moulding.\nSet-up process to log, track and resolve issues seen.\nDrive specific issues to resolution.\nDetermine opportunities to pro-actively drive product quality improvement though process or procedural changes.\nSupport all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.\nEnsure compliance with all learnings from all GMP training events.\nOther responsibilities may be assigned from time to time as needed, based on the evolution of the company and the requirements of the department/position.\nJob Specifications: The minimum education and experience required to perform this job competently.\nBe pursuing an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electronic, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.\nSkills/Attributes:\nExcellent IT, Communication and Interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work off own initiative and as part of a cross functional team.\nDesire to learn new tasks and flexibility.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
