Our commitment extends beyond business success as we strive to build sustainable processes that minimize environmental impact and foster vibrant and diverse communities around the globe.Jabil is seeking a Quality Technician to work in Florence, KY, Building 300.\nShift schedules are as follows: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm\nWhat will you do?\nSupport NPI activities in the preparing NPI related activities such as but not limited to: VA preparation & maintenance, line readiness audit, NPI build inspection, training, process audits\nPrepare and organize raw data for analysis and reporting\nPerform routine process and product audits\nSupport new product introductions and related experiments as directed by leadership\nReview defect samples and verify purge processes\nTrack and follow up on DA, ECN, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)\nReview non-conforming materials and products for compliance\nConduct and support production inspections to meet customer requirements\nCompile and maintain quality documentation and records\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues\nEnsure adherence to quality standards and procedures\nCommunicate findings and escalate concerns when necessary\nPerform other duties as assigned\nHow will you get here?\nEducation & Experience:\nHigh School Diploma required (Associate's Preferred)\n3 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality type role\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:\nGeneral knowledge of electronic component handling.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.\nAbility to interpret drawings, graphs, ratios, and technical data.\nProficiency with Windows-based systems and advanced PC skills.\nAbility to read and understand work instructions, visual aids, and technical documents.\nEffective communication skills, including presenting information to various audiences.\nAbility to write simple correspondence and documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to follow instructions and work within standardized processes.\nBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
