Also responsible for providing guidance to less experienced employees. Provides technical system support with respect to inspection applications. Act as Subject Matter Expert regarding measurement techniques/-methodologies at the site. Responsible for the execution of the Product Release Monitoring and Employee Certification program for Jabil.\nWhat will you do?\nConduct First Article Inspection (FAI), FIR, test reports, incoming, in-process and final inspections.\n\nSupport of New Product Introduction and Design Transfers at the site.\n\nSupport and conduct Gage R&R (measurement capabilities assessments).\n\nPerforms complex tests and analysis to assure that products comply with established specifications.\n\nCarries out calculations and prepares documentation that shows the results of tests performed.\n\nActs as a Subject Matter Expert for measurement techniques/-methodologies.\n\nFormulates recommendations for corrective action for management.\n\nPrepares remedial recommendations.\n\nPrepares statistical reports on quality control results for management.\n\nImplements revisions, corrections and changes to test equipment, procedures and methods.\n\nIssues and executes NCR within the FAI / inspection activities.\n\nActs as owner of actions assigned from quality systems (NCR, CAPA, Audit Observations).\n\nSupports certified operator program by performing roving audits.\n\nDrives document changes and inspection sheet updates through the change control process.\n\nAssist Quality Engineering by evaluating product placed in quarantine.\n\nHow will you get here?\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. or bachelors.\n\nStrong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).\n\nExperience with various measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).\n\n2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role.\n\nProficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.\n\nFamiliarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).\n\nBasic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).\n\nExcellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.\n\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\n\nBENEFITS PACKAGE WITH JABIL\nCompetitive base salary\n\nMedical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and Vision Insurance with HRA and HSA options\n\n401K match\n\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\n\nPaid Time Off\n\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nLife, AD&DJBL TA - Job Requisition Process Status, and Disability Insurance\n\nCommuter Benefits\n\nEmployee Assistance Program\n\nPet Insurance\n\nAdoption Assistance\n\nAnnual Merit Increases\n\nCommunity Volunteer Opportunity\n\nThe hourly pay range for this role is $22.84 - $41.11.
