Leading new mould tool introduction activities; including process development (SIM, decoupled moulding), FOTs at toolmakers, FATs, process transfer to-site and process handover to operations.\nThis is an on-site role, with travel ranging on average 10-50% within any given month (project activities dependant).\nSummary/Brief:\nDevelops and implements production / processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner for new and existing moulding processes. Monitors the moulding process; troubleshooting problem processes and assisting in resolving quality issues. Provides technical expertise on various projects / production jobs and processes as required.\nResponsibilities of Position:\nImplement the start-up of new/existing projects / production jobs, optimizing cost, efficiency and quality.\nEstablish and ensure process control and maintains appropriate documentation.\nMonitor the assembly / moulding running in production; troubleshoot problems associated with processes and assist in resolving quality issues.\nEstablish processes for new product lines; document product development and changes; evaluate new product performance and monitor new tool design.\nDebug moderately complex problems within a portion of new systems, tooling and automation.\nImplement experiments to enhance processes as well as improve yields and utilization through reduced cycle and efficient set up.\nImplement maintenance changes in process improvements; propose or specify repair alteration of automation while ensuring adequate documentation is maintained.\nSupports all company quality programs and initiatives.\nTimeliness in addressing Quality System Requirements.\nPrinciples of data integrity must be strictly adhered to.\nAll activities to be performed in strict accordance with the Quality Management System.\nProvides direction to operational team members as necessary.\nProvide functional and technical mentoring and coaching to process moulding technicians and other operations teams members to build our knowledge of Scientific Injection moulding across our Value / Customer stream areas.\nTravel as required to support Customer / Value Stream and/or training at vendor/customer sites.\nConstantly seeks to improve work processes; Has a quality-first mentality; Learns from internal and external best practices to apply to her/his work\nSupports all company Lean Manufacturing principles\nMaintain a clean and safe work environment; supporting all company quality programs and initiatives.
